RXM was first incorporated in 2002 in Singapore and was subsequently restructured in 2009 to reflect changes in equity holdings. The company has served a huge variety of industries and sectors relating to corporate finance and M&A processes. RXM was holding official appointments in various agencies including IE Singapore (formerly known as Trade Development Board of Singapore), where we were resident advisor representing the agency to provide in-house M&A advisory services to public inquiries and to conduct seminars and workshops relating to merger & acquisition, private equity funding, directors’ dispute, recapitalisation & restructuring, and business valuation including valuation on intangible assets and intellectual properties.
We had also served as a committee member of Q179 of The International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property, generally known under the abbreviated name AIPPI, it is the world's leading international organisation dedicated to the development and improvement of intellectual property. It is a politically neutral, non-profit organisation, domiciled in Switzerland which has over 8,000 members representing more than 100 countries. The objective of AIPPI is to improve and promote the protection of intellectual property on both an international and national basis. It pursues this objective by working for the development, expansion, and improvement of international and regional treaties and agreements and also of national laws relating to intellectual property. It operates by conducting studies of existing national laws and proposes measures to achieve harmonization of these laws on an international basis. In this context, AIPPI has become increasingly concerned with issues concerning the enforcement of intellectual property rights.
Additionally, we are currently a member of the Singapore Corporate Counsel Association, Singapore Institute of Arbitrators, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Singapore Institute of Directors and International Valuation Standards Council.
